Final Dress Code May 21, 2010
- Church Code: On Mass days, students are to wear an ICS monogrammed
shirt in navy or gray. The monogrammed shirt is to be worn with khaki or
navy dress pants and/or skirts. Parent’s will have an opportunity to
order these through the school or they may purchased at Melco in Monmouth.
- Boys’ & Girls’ tops: The following tops
are allowed: light blue, royal blue, navy, gray or white short or long sleeved
collared shirt Tops: with OR without ICS monogram. (Small brand emblems are
acceptable.)
- Boys’ bottoms: Khaki or navy pants. Sweat and athletic
pants are acceptable only on “Casual Fridays.”
- Girls’ bottoms: Khaki or navy pants including capris
and knit pants are acceptable. In addition, khaki or navy skirt with built
in shorts (skort) may be worn. Like the boys’, sweat and athletic pants
are only acceptable on “Casual Fridays.”
- Warm Weather Wear: Khaki or navy shorts may be worn between
August through October 15thand again from April 15th through the end of the
school year. *Length of shorts as specified in school dress code. No short
shorts are permitted.
- Cold Weather Wear: Cold weather wear includes ICS hooded
or crew sweatshirts. In addition, any solid navy, royal blue, gray, light
blue, or white sweater or sweater vest may be worn over a collared shirt.
Sweatshirts may be purchased where ICS sweatshirts are sold (Haase or Melco)
or students may purchase sweatshirts from the Spirit Cart. Order forms will
be made available with other apparel.
AdditionalInformation:
- Knits and cargo styles are acceptable on boys’ and
girls’ bottoms.
- Belts are NOT required and students do NOT need to tuck in tops.
- Every
Friday will be designated as “Casual Friday.” On Casual Friday’s
students may wear any clothing of choice. Students need to refer to the
handbook. Jeans, sweat pants, and athletic pants are also acceptable on
Fridays. Please note that shirts do not need to be collared on Casual Fridays.
Monogrammed and plain shirts are available for purchase. Items will be available
in both regular and plus sizes.
