IMMACULATE
CONCEPTION SCHOOL ANNUAL GIVING
What
is the Sharing the Future Fund?
Sharing
the Future is one way each of you can personally "invest" in the
future of this school. Your financial commitment and prayers will
assist the school and parish to secure a firm future of growth
and development, based upon and inspired by faith. It is the most
effective way that Immaculate Conception's benefactors can participate
to support the School.
Dollars
raised through the Sharing the Future provide support for the
operating budget each year. It includes restricted and unrestricted
gifts made from July 1 through June 30 -- the School's fiscal
year. Contributions are used to fund faculty salaries, to augment
and purchase new equipment, textbooks, desks and chairs, computer
equipment, and to maintain and operate Immaculate Conception's
educational programs and offerings.
Tuition
and fees do not cover the full cost of educating a student at
Immaculate Conception School, and the price of maintaining academic
excellence is being balanced with dollars from parents (via tuition
and gifts), fund raising events, and our parish support.
Every
student today as in the past receives a "hidden scholarship" which
comes from gifts and endowment income. Sharing the Future, therefore,
provides a legacy of alumni support.
Why
should alumni give to the Annual Fund?
One
student, educated with values and traditions of Immaculate Conception,
with the benefit of caring parents and teachers, can positively
affect the lives of thousands.
The
future leaders of our Church and our Country are in our classrooms
today. The future direction of Catholic education rests in many
ways in the hands, hearts, minds of people like yourselves. Indeed
the future of the Church and Immaculate Conception School in Monmouth
and Warren County rests with you.
